About Acne
Acne
is a result of an imbalance of two or several factors
in skin condition relating to the duct system and
sebaceous gland. An increased production of
sebaceous material due to hormone imbalance or side
effects of stress that cause an overproduction of
sebaceous material, or blockage of the tubule preventing
the escape of oil.
This process starts the
breakout and results to acne. The proper use
of skin care products is important at this stage.
The presence of different types of skin bacteria
when trapped beneath the skin, begin to react chemically
with the sebaceous material causing it to break down
into free fatty acids.

Almost always with the occurrence of acne, there is also a related skin disorder called retention keratosis. This occurs when the lining cells of the sebaceous duct not shedding properly and staying in place for a longer period of time. It results to inflammation or an irritation underneath the surface of the skin.
This condition can be quite irritating to the
deeper structure of the skin and result in inflammation.
There are acne skin care treatments that targets this condition.
The first signs of acne are redness, firmness,
swelling, tenderness, and heat. On about the second or
third day of inflammation, pustules are formed resulting
from increased white blood cells attempting to digest the
bacteria. More irritation extends sideways beneath
the surface of the skin.
Acne has been commonly blamed on stress. However it has not been established if stress does stimulate our body enzyme and immune systems to cause a stimulation of the oil glands. It has been proven though that lowering stress levels certainly can help to decrease oil production, and thus decrease the symptoms of acne. Natural
skin care treatment and organic skin care theraphy consider
stress-factor.

Acne is a skin condition
and certainly is not directly contagious.
However,
if one picks or squeezes an acne lesion with fingernails
and then scratch another area, it can contaminate
a non-infected sebaceous duct with bacteria-infected
material and cause a new lesion to arise.
The practice of picking acne can hasten
the spread and worsen the condition.
It follows
that washing both hands and face on a regular basis
and lesions will decrease the likelihood of new acne
lesions developing. |
It is generally observed that acne most often occurs in the puberty stage, but may appear a few days after birth. Older persons can also develop adult acne, sometimes from different causes. Popular acne removal treatments are available to treat different acne conditions.
Because acne is a condition that exists in sebaceous glands, it is possible for it to occur anywhere on the body surface that has sebaceous glands. Acne does commonly occur on the chest, the back, and occasionally on the arms and legs. There are acne alternative treatments that particularly attend to back acne problems.
The probability of scarring increases if acne persists for several weeks as a infected area cannot heal because of fluid being trapped under the skin. This condition holds true to any chronic wound or delayed healing process in the skin. Permanent scarring from acne can be certainly controlled during the early stages to prevent the formation of fluid-filled pockets.
