Acne Treatment Tip Idea

There are steps that can be taken to make acne easier to live with.

The key is to assess the sudden breakout and care skin action should be followed according to acne type and degree of severity.

A simple blackhead pimple may require thorough cleansing followed by a clay-based mask.

Clay actually draws blackhead-causing impurities out of the skin including the plug of oil and dead skin cells.

Over-the-counter pore-cleansing strips can also do wonder.

If the pimple has come to a pus-filled head (called pustule) start an acne alternative treatment by soaking a washcloth with hot water. The hotter, the better its effect will be.  The washcloth is applied to the pimple-affected area but never pressing. The idea is to allow the heat to draw the pus inside the pimple upward, making acne removal treatment easy. After applying heat for several minutes, the area is dried up.

Using both index fingers wrapped in a clean tissue, a gentle pressure or squeeze is applied to remove the pus.  Squeezing the pimple too hard – where blood is taken out – can lead to scarring.  If no pus comes out, this acne skin care treatment procedure can be repeated altogether avoiding producing any blood.

If a pimple developed into a big, red, itchy, or sore bump, an intervention of a qualified dermatologist should be in no time considered.

For a quick fix, the dermatologists can choose to do an ‘emergency zapping’ by injecting a cortisone solution into each pimple spot, instantly shrinking it.

The onset of acne can be treated with several widely available acne skin treatment products.

A combination of these treatments can greatly reduce the amount and severity of acne in many cases.

Oral antibiotics such as erythromycin, clindamycin, Stiemycin or tetracycline aim to kill the bacteria that are harbored in the blocked follicles.

Topical bactericidal products containing Benzoyl peroxide may be used in mild to moderate acne. The cream or gel containing benzoyl peroxide is rubbed, twice daily, into the pores over the affected region and primarily prevents new lesions.

Also an acne popular treatment are topical retinoids such as tretinoin (brand name Retin-A), adapalene (brand name Differin) and tazarotene (brand name Tazorac), can normalize the follicle cell lifecycle.
