Face Masks and Scrubs
A fine range of skin care product wouldn’t be complete without face masks and scrubs. Masks primarily functions to sooth and replenish while scrubs are best exfoliants.
Clay face mask
draws up the natural skin care component
in clay to cleanse and purify the skin. It
is actually a drying mask that draws out impurities
from under the surface of the skin.
But
this is not all mud or clay, there are essential
oils blended to help rejuvenate tired and thirsty
skin.
The goal of this type of mask is to
tighten, revitalize and activate skin circulation,
giving the skin a youthful and vibrant glow.
Sea mud mask also works as an acne skin
care treatment, keeping acne at bay by removing excess
oil and cellular debris. An added peppermint

A cream face mask is a moisturizing
mask that revitalizes and hydrates the skin. It may
contain organic skin care exfoliation agents to help cleanse
skin pores, remove waste and toxins and fight free radicals
leaving the skin more velvety and luminous.
Gel mask has
a soothing cooling formula and usually contains herbal
skin care ingredients such as aloe vera, chamomile,
and cucumber. This kind of facial mask hydrates,
moisturizes and reduces puffiness. There are also
hydration gel mask specially formulated to alleviate sun
or wind burnt skins.

Organic
facial masks may contain generous amounts of botanical
freshener like rose floral water
and calming sea algae to double act as toner.
Firming masks contains chlorophyll
to repair sun damage and especially infused with vitamin
B for added nourishment and added with natural ingredients
such as algae extracts and aloe vera to calm the skin.
Masks in the form of skin care creams work
by replenishing lost moisture.
Ingredients
may include coriander, lime, lavender, raspberry
and poppy oils, melon oil, even a cactus extract. |
All masks are applied in even layer or layers
to a cleansed face - always avoiding the eye area - and
made to dry up for about 20 minutes. Afterwards,
it is washed off with cold water and patted dry.
Scrubs work by removing deeply ingrained dirt and grime to leave skin soft and clear. The good ones are made up with the grinded core of the peach fruit or almonds. One can readily prepare homemade skin care scrub using these ingredients.
The natural granules remove dead skin cell
and blackheads, draws out oil, old make up and other impurities
from deep in the pores of the skin.
